Usage on Fiba Events

ICON COLOUR ADAPTATION

The style palette should be applied appropriately, to compliment each specific Event composite logo.
It is not mandatory to use only the FIBA Zone or the Event/Location colours, but the colour choice must have
some relevance to the Event or the Location.
This might involve use of flag colours, or colours from nature, something that is undeniably Event or Location specific.

Example, the Turkey World Championship. The Turkey Composite Logo design consists of mainly red,
meaning that the use of a red background and red Icons would be ineffective in making the logo stand out.
So the cyan element of the logo could be utilised and applied to the styling of all secondary elements.

Whilst new colours may be introduced the overall style must remain recognisable as FIBA secondary branding.
Any of the toolkit elements may be adapted in this way to suit a given Event.
If an approved font is used for an Event, this may also be introduced into the design.

The image below shows an example of an Event where new colours have been applied to highlight the composite logo.

The Event composite logo must always be present, with a copyright notice applied and SRP (partner strip) where required.

This is just one example of how the secondary branding elements might be applied.

All photographic imagery must reflect fully the nature of the given event.
